Who we are.
The China Cupboard is a local Mother & Daughter business based south of Hobart. We have an extensive range of vintage & retro crockery and much more for hire for all occasions. Our collection was started from some passed down family pieces and has grown from there.
The pieces that appeal to us are from a time when things were looked after and made to last, used everyday, a Sunday roast or for special occasions. Most of our collection has stood the test of time and are ready for a new lease of life at some wonderful events and celebrations. We are here to share this beautiful collection with you.
So if your are wanting a shabby mismatched, vintage or retro themed event, whether it be a hens day, birthday, wedding, tea party, baby shower or just because and don't have the time or inclination to gather together a collection, we have it for you!We have a large range of dinner plates, side plates, cups and sauces, tea pots (china & silver), platters, glass ware, mismatched cutlery, mason jars, fowler jars, sauce/milk/flower jugs and vases. We also have a range of props including framed blackboards, market baskets, large tin trough and many more!

Our collection mostly includes vintage crockery but we have a small retro collection that we are still working on! We are always out collecting so if there is something specific you would like but don't have the time to look let us know and we can keep our eyes peeled!
